Bauer Technologies was awarded the geotechnical works contract by Graham Lagan Joint Venture, on behalf of client Siemens. Specifically, Bauer was contracted to carry out ground improvement of fill and underlying soft, compressible alluvial soil.

Works were carried out by Bauer in close proximity to the River Humber. Specifically, Bauer installed over 3,000 stone columns, using a vibro-replacement technique across the entire area, resulting in the improvement of the soft and compressible soils.

Bauer was on site for 5 months and completed the project on time and on budget.
